I had zero idea what I was getting myself into after i took this job. I thought it would be simple-pretend to become Mr. Dane Clark’s personal helper, find the lacking blueprints, and get out of the Clark Castle once and for all. But, somehow this socially uncomfortable, tech-genius billionaire provides wormed his method into my center. And even if we survive this clutter, I’m not sure I about Shades of Pink wish to leave.

Dane Clark: How do you put this? She’s . . . red.

So very pink. Bright and sunlit and peppy. I mean, she has at least one hundred and four pairs of shades. Why? I’ve by no means seen a female wear a lot of sun shades before: red, red, blue, green, glitter-encrusted. I don’t understand it.

As for her organizational skills? Abysmal. Her focus on detail? Non-existent. Her ability to frustrate me to no end? Spot on. I never should have employed her. Lola Red does not match my schedule. Nevertheless, she whirled into my entire life anyhow; and she transformed everything. NOW I AM stuck aiming to keep my business afloat and the two of us alive, while Lola becomes my entire life all shades of pink.
