The Wolf Pack has finally made progress in their trek North because they reunite with the rest of their group at the Canadian border. The tiny city of Coutts is certainly fortified by the US Military with a apparently impenetrable fence encircling it. It’s really secure plus they can have some semblance of a life again. A week of keeping there begs the question, do they actually need to keep on their journey?

As they unwind after a hellish week on the highway, what they’ve had to do to survive comes home to haunt them-all their failures, all the lives they’ve taken, all of the people they couldn’t save .

Things change if they realize there are a key buried in Coutts, something they may not be prepared to face. Not only do things start to destabilize within, but the Reclaimers return, bringing with them a vengeance and an idea to create the group to their knees.
