Abbott and Costello were perhaps one of the most popular duo humor teams in history on radio and television. William (Bud) as Abbott and Lou Costello (born Louis Francis Cristillo).

Both comedians first worked jointly in 1935 on the Eltinge Burlesque Theater on 42nd Street in New York.

They became well-known for their most popular act, ”Who’s on First?” whose rapid-fire word play and understanding confusion arranged the preponderant framework for some of their best-known routines.
