Before he was perhaps one of the most well-known yoga teachers in THE UNITED STATES and an international hiphop artist, MC YOGI was a juvenile delinquent who was kicked out of three schools, delivered to live at an organization real estate for at-risk youth, arrested for vandalism, and swept up in an environment of drugs, chaos and carelessness.

At eighteen, destiny brought him to his 1st yoga class. After discovering yoga exercise, MC YOGI committed himself to the practice. From planing a trip to India to study with experts to living and learning numerous American yoga experts, MC YOGI soaked in the data that could revolutionize his lifetime and place him on the path to recovery, wholeness, and peacefulness.
