Summary:
Two young boys, separated with the canyons of time and two vastly different ethnicities, face up to the challenges by which they will become men.
Coyote Works, an Apache boy, participates his 1st raid. But he’s to be always a guy for only a short time.
Greater than a hundred years afterwards, while camping close to Dog Canyon, 15-year-old Brennan Cole becomes enthusiastic about a skull that he finds, pierced by a bullet. He discovers that it is the skull of the Apache boy executed by military in 1864. A mystical link joins Brennan and Coyote Works, and Brennan understands that neither son will find tranquility until Coyote Runs’ skull is carried back again to an ancient sacred place.
Inside a grueling journey through the canyon to return the skull, Brennan confronts the challenge of his life.
