Jim Thorpe was one of the biggest sports athletes who ever lived. He played professional football, Main Little league b aseball, and won Olympic precious metal medals in monitor and field. He’ll permanently be remembered from the sports activities community and by his Local American community, who consider him a hero on par with Crazy Equine.

Born on the Sac and Fox Booking in 1887. Jim was sent as a young boy to several Indian boarding universities strict, cold areas that didn’t enable their students to carry on to their Local American customs. Jim ran from school often, until he found his phoning at Pennsylvania’s Carlisle School. There, coach Pop Warner, who’s as popular today as Thorpe himself, identified Jim’s athletic excellence and welcomed him onto the soccer and track teams. Glory adopted, as do surprising disgrace. But through everything, Jim was a person to admire-an interesting, spirited, and amazing young man.
