Commander George Samuel Kirk was aboard the Organization under the control of Captain Robert Apr before his famous kid was created. Starfleet has simply been founded and the Enterprise has just been built, and it is delivered on its initial mission.

The mission takes the Organization into the heart of hostile Romulan territory, where cosmopolitical machinations and advanced weapons technology will decide the fate of a hundred innocent worlds.
