It is the Black Dawn, a period of environmental apocalypse. It’s the Shiny Day, a time generations hence, whenever a tranquility has descended across the world. In each period, a child undertakes a perilous journey to find a dark messiah known as the Crowman. In their hands is situated the fate of the earth as they try to discover whether the Crowman is definitely our saviour… or the final incarnation of evil.
