The world has collapsed, and you can find no heroes any longer. His name is certainly Three, a going weapon for hire in a dying globe. He does not have any allegiances, no family, no ties. Against his better common sense, he accepts the mantle of protector to a sick woman on the run, and her young son. Together they lay out across the plains searching for a mythic oasis, attempting to survive the pushes that pursue them, as well as the creatures of the dark. In these dark instances, a hero may yet arise.
