At the end of the twenty-fourth century, war is fought in acivilized way: each part hires mercenaries to activate in combat inspecifically designated areas. Towards the victor go the spoils-whatever they probably.

After several assignments involving even more intrigue andskulduggery compared to the Cutter Force Initiative ever wanted, the machine is lookingforward to being portion of a straight-up, short-term industrial war on Earth.

Cutter agrees to a support part offered by an old armycomrade who’s today an over-all in a more substantial military power. The pay is certainly good, theunit happy. All they need to do is fundamental ranger stuff: sneak and peek, shootand scoot.

But what begins as a corporate fight to take up avaluable little bit of contested territory quickly goes sideways, as soon as againCutter and crew find themselves in the middle of situations in which thingsaren’t because they appear, and the machine must determine the truth-or lose even more thanjust a battle.
