A debt of honor: One courageous woman ventures alone into a parallel universe to save her old shipmates, exiled there decades earlier by a secret device called the Transfer Key. She shortly learns the alternate universe harbors not only an alien about Legacies #2: Greatest Defense invasion drive, but a magic formula that underpins its very existence.

A objective of peacefulness: A long-awaited Klingon-Federation peace meeting convenes, led by Ambassador Sarek of Vulcan and Councillor Gorkon of Qo’noS. But both sides have enemies who choose the two great capabilities remain at war-and who’ll do anything to be sure hate wins the day.
