Kurt is a lonely and broken guy portion a self-imposed exile from life seeing that he treks, homeless, in the united states in search the next thing of his future.

One dark and stormy afternoon, he stumbles across a grand outdated abandoned mansion in the deep woods, definately not anywhere.

Acquiring shelter within, he turns into entranced with the painting of a beautiful Victorian-era woman he discovers hanging in the mansion’s dusty older library. Etched into the painting are two puzzling lines:

” about THE HOME at the Center of the Worlds Scattered by the blowing wind that blows across four worlds,

She longs another home, this poor, ensorcelled woman.”

A mystery inside the painting sets him upon a goal across parallel worlds accessed through inter-dimensional portals inside the mansion. Worlds which test him, pressing him to his limits, and ultimately providing him with pieces of – of what? He doesn’t know…but he doesn’t permit his ignorance stop him.
