At six years old, Myla was delivered to a family group her father and mother had chosen on her behalf when they knew their period on earth was almost up. What these were unaware of was that what they believed would be her safe haven would become her living hell.

Kai has been watching Myla from afar since he took over the family business from his father and inherited the duty of keeping her safe.
