But mankind has fought on, carving out pouches of civilization within a wasteland referred to as the Sicklands, creating the super high-tech Clean Nation cities.

And from the cities GenSOF continues to be born-Genetic Special Pushes Operations. At the very top military branch of the government that enlists women and men with specific genetic anomalies that permit them to become hosts to bacteria that actually the Strains cannot beat. Beneath the watchful eyes of Control, GenSOF protects the Clean Nation cities in the ever encroaching Strains and the diseased inhabitants of the Sicklands.

But now Control has various other plans for GenSOF, and possibly the Clean Nation cities themselves, and it is up to the operators of GenSOF Zebra Squad, and their cloned Canine Units referred to as insect hounds, to learn what those programs are.
