When a minor trade partner sends the Castle Federation a desperate call for help, they have few resources to spare using their all-consuming war against the Terran Commonwealth. Unwilling to be seen faltering their allies but in a position to spare only a tiny force, Castle sends a hero to order the duty group: Captain Kyle Roberts, the Stellar Fox.

Beyond the Rimward frontier from the Federation and its allies, little is as it appears. The pirates are being armed by an outside force, and the politics of these worlds is manufactured deadlier by their poverty. When the Coraline Imperium-the Federation’s oft-difficult ally-sends forces aswell, it dangers a turmoil that could undermine the Alliance safeguarding them both.

There are much deeper games afoot as local techniques play the great powers against each other. Captain Roberts is definitely caught in the chaos as fireplace and bloodstream explode over the area. There is only one certainty: these Rimward Superstars should never fall.
