Since my parents died in the demon battle, I’ve paid my way through life by using magic to con people. It’s not correct, but a girl’s gotta perform what she can to survive.

Unfortunately, my latest con has left me smack dab in the center of a murder scene. Right now, a coven of irritated mages thinks I’m the killer. To be able to very clear my name, I must synergy with an infuriatingly sexy warlock whose forces are much darker than he admits. Toss in a string of related murders and a vexed vampire clan, and I’m up to my eyeballs in danger.

But that’s not even the worst type of of it. When I get too close to the genuine killer, he casts a life-threatening curse on my grandmother. Before, I just wanted to conserve my very own butt, but now I’ll perform whatever needs doing to track him down-even if it means pursuing him through monstrous proportions.

Because I don’t play fine with magic. So when you mess with Grandma, you become #1 on my shit list.
