“This Is Your FBI” was a fact-based radio series that dramatized FBI cases through the agent’s point of view. Producer/movie director Jerry Devine acquired experience with pro-law enforcement radio play having brought us “Mr. Area Attorney.”

Crackdowns on organized crime, and well-known offender cases of your day were featured. As the series shined a glorious light over the FBI and vilified bad guys, it received the full endorsement of FBI movie director J. Edgar Hoover, who actually appeared on the initial event. Frank Lovejoy, and later on Dean Carlton, had been the narrator, who profiled the actions along the way.

“That is Your FBI” was heard on ABC radio from 1945 until 1953, sponsored because of its entire run from the Equitable Existence Assurance Society of the United States.
