A coming-of-age, coming-out cocktail using a twist of terror. Thirteen-year-old Franklin Robertson is wanting to survive adolescence. His parents don’t understand him, his brother torments him, he has no friends, and he’s more interested in the senior high school quarterback than any girl. The one shiny place in his existence is the shine from the black-and-white Television in his parents’ cellar. Right here, he worships at the altar of the Saturday Night Horror Film, hosted from the eerie Dr. Cerberus. In a short time, about Doctor Cerberus Franklin can be convinced that only by going on the display will his life end up being redeemed – by Dr. Cerberus himself!
