Bigger spaceships. Bigger explosions. Larger planets. Bigger complications.

It’s been three years since Esa joined the ranks of the Justified after her recovery in the fanatical murderers the Pax. Collectively, Esa and her coach Kamali travel from world to planet, searching for kids with supernatural capabilities. It’s hard work, but Esa hasn’t felt more assured of her place in the universe.

On a trip to a globe so remote control that its inhabitants by no means learned that the Sect about A Chain Across the Dawn Wars finished over 100 years ago, they learn the Justified aren’t the only people searching for gifted kids. There is a creature with unexpected powers who’ll stop at nothing at all to obtain its hands on the kids that Esa and Kamali are trying to rescue.

With their most recent recruit in tow — a young Wulf child named Sho — Esa and Kamali will travel halfway over the galaxy in search of answers. But the answers only lead to more questions, and the danger is only going to enhance as their terrifying nemesis turns his eyes in it.
