With this original adaptation of E.M. Forster’s book, an encounter in Florence and an offer to exchange areas provides George Emerson to the attention of Lucy Honeychurch. Their flirtation is certainly cut brief by Lucy’s chaperone, however when they meet again back in Britain, Lucy must negotiate the needs of her station with the desires of her heart.
