In the tradition of classic radio plays, with a full cast, music, sound effects, all digitally documented, the award winning Colonial Radio Theatre FOR THE Air is proud to present this spectacular production – ‘ALABAMA!’ – the story from the famed Confederate Warship and scourge from the Union shipping and delivery fleet through the American Civil Battle. Built-in secrecy for the Confederate Areas Navy in Britain, she catches or melts away 65 Union vessels and will take more than 2000 prisoners in her brief profession – which comes to an end off the coast of Cherbourg, France, when she encounters the USS Kearsarge.
