She’s not sure what’s going on with him, but she’s determined to learn. So is usually McQueen, the teacher who might just be the main one to unleash something in Travis that has been held back again for a very long time. Having a cast of absolutely believable characters, Pat Schmatz has crafted a story rich in occasions of trust and connection, informed with humor, heartbreak, and fearless honesty.
