When Matt Johansson, a NY actor, auditions for Chapel of Ease, an off-Broadway musical, he is instantly charmed by Ray Parrish, the show’s writer and composer. As their a friendly relationship deepens, Matt learns that Ray’s people call themselves the Tufa which the musical is dependant on the history of his isolated hometown. But there is certainly one query in the show’s script that Ray refuses to answer: What’s buried in the ruins of the chapel of relieve?

As opening evening approaches, unusual things about Chapel of Ease begin to happen. A dreadlocked female follows and spies on Ray. On the press preview, a strange Tufa woman warns him to avoid the show. Then, as the rave evaluations arrive, Ray dies in his sleep.

Matt as well as the solid are distraught, but there’s no issue of shutting down, and the work quickly sells out. Matt volunteers to consider Ray’s ashes back to Needsville, where he hopes to understand even more about the play and uncover the secret that Ray had taken to his grave.
