Summary:
The Colonial Williamsburg you are visiting generally is a window to the past where we can see at length the thriving town that served as the administrative centre of Virginia for eighty years. PARTLY I, we begin our tour at among the popular taverns that offered the guys who we know today as our Founding Fathers. Along our tour route we’ll find shops that still offer colonial-era items. We’ll also go to a number of the open public structures where in fact the innocent and guilty experienced their time in courtroom — and where Blackbeard’s pirates were jailed! We’re also going to see some of the most elegant structures around, occupied by some of the most important men of the Colonial Period. And talking about elegant buildings, we’ll end Component I in the spectacular Governor’s Palace, home towards the King’s representative, and, to America’s 1st governors.
