Unable to return to Earth, Dan Dare and the crew of the Anastasia check out the desolate planet Mars, where Dan’s estranged Uncle Ivor is certainly part of a research team focusing on a top-secret archaeological dig; but when they find the base wrecked and the scientists lacking, Dare, Digby and Professor Peabody soon find that the Crimson Planet isn’t nearly as inactive as everyone idea which Ivor’s expedition offers woken an army of dangerous insect-creatures that threaten to swarm and engulf the Earth… Dare about Dan Dare: The Crimson Moon Mystery must stop the aliens, but can he really resort to genocide in order to save the people?
