Charlene “Charlie” Moreau is back St. Francisville, Louisiana, to focus on a film. One night, she stumbles over the body of the Civil Battle reenactor, the next murdered in two times. Charlie is stunned to learn that her father-a guideline on the Trip, a historical paddle wheeler that’s sponsoring the reenactment-is a suspect.

In the meantime, Ethan Delaney, not used to the FBI’s Krewe of Hunters, can be brought in within the case. He and Charlie have a brief history of their very own, dating back again to when he rescued her from a graveyard-led there by a Confederate ghost!

Charlie arranges a Mississippi River luxury cruise so she and Ethan can get near to the reenactors, look for out who knows what, who includes a motive. They discover a lot more because they resume the partnership that ended ten years ago…but might expire, along with them, in the Journey.
