Dinnerladies is a classic BBC sitcom based round the lives of the staff of the canteen at Manchester factory HWD Components. Written by and starring Victoria Real wood a Brenda, these eight traditional TV shows are brilliantly funny, where in fact the jokes travel as thick so that as fast as granary torpedoes.

Combined with the daily nourishing the faces of folk, the canteen staff Bren, Twink, Jean (and all of the others!) have to contend with the entrance of a Royal on site, a Japanese-themed party filled with costumes, and the controversial delivery of fresh uniforms. And can Tony finally succumb to Brenda’s developments?

With an excellent cast including Victoria Wood, Celia Imrie and Thelma Barlow also star within this trayful of comedy through the BBC hotplate.
