Exploring alone for once, the Sixth Doctor elects to return to Earth, and the Initial World War. There he must solve, forever, a secret he unearthed in previously about Doctor Who: Fortunes of War: 6th Doctor Sound Original incarnations. Somebody continues to be interfering to alter the span of the war – but from what end?

With Captain Tag Steadman and Nurse Annie Grantham, the Doctor travels to a forest in Germany, on the cold morning hours in November. In the centre from the forest can be a massive temporal disturbance, and there he’ll rendezvous with whoever is behind significant changes to the approved history of the Great War.

But the forces of Time bring other entities to the meeting place: terrifying, corporeal ghosts of soldiers from many decades of battle. If the physician, Tag and Annie are to escape with their lives – and come back background to it appropriate course – they will want help from unforeseen quarters.
