Ed Reardon (played by Christopher Douglas) is a failed article writer, fare-dodger and get better at of the abusive email. Living with his cat within a one-bedroom level, this bearded divorcee grumbles at a modern world seemingly operate by 12-year-olds, while churning out books such as Jane Seymour’s Home Hints and Family pet Peeves (to settle the bills) and endeavoring to live from the royalties of his 1982 bout of Tenko (£17 yearly). We monitor Ed’s attempts to gain the literary success he feels is due within this painfully funny and extraordinarily smart sitcom.
