In the first years of the twenty-first century, humans have advanced stage by slow stage into space. Continuously monitoring the heavens, they have discovered that one asteroids have transformed their orbits-and are on a collision program with Earth. Urgent action is required, but politics and an internationally financial crash are getting in the way.
