Frank Skinner is without a doubt one of the funniest & most successful comedians showing up on British displays. Born Chris Collins in 1957 he grew up in the Western Midlands where he inherited his father’s enthusiasm for soccer, a Western Bromich Albion supporter, along with a preference for alcoholic beverages. Expelled from school at 16 Frank held various jobs later going on to gain an MA in British Literature. Nurturing a serious drink issue from the age of fourteen, Frank ultimately turned to Catholicism in 1987 about Frank Skinner Autobiography and hasn’t had a glass or two since. He performed his first stand up gig in December 1987. His 1st television appearance in 1988 met with matches of laughter through the target audience and 131 issues, including one from cupboard minister Edwina Currie. He met fellow comedian David Baddiel in 1990 and the two went on to talk about a flat throughout the early 90’s also to make the hit Television series Fantasy Soccer League.
