the Malazan Empire catches the Free Town of Pale. It efforts to conquer the town of Pale while over head looms Moon’s Spawn, a massive floating fortress and house towards the Tiste Andii. Anomander Rake and the various other Tiste Andii wage war over the Malazan army, triumphant in the end, but at great cost. Then, the Bridgeburners are dispatched to Darujhistan, the final free city state in the north continent, while gods conspire and ancient beings are re-awoken to wage a war.
