A triumphant Caesar enters Rome after defeating the sons of his previous enemy, Pompey. Jealousy and dread over Caesar’s reforms reveal a brewing conspiracy to assassinate him. As the plot thickens, Caesar’s wife is usually plagued by horrible nightmares and begs him never to go directly to the Capitol. But Caesar shrugs off her concerns and is followed to the Senate from the conspirators thus sealing his fate. Caesar’s loyal close friends rally to avenge his death and preserve his legacy.
