McCall’s first customer is a distraught mom who is eager to locate her young child, drawn into the shadowy world of light slavery. But this customer may not be all she appears to be.

At the time same, McCall is approached by a diplomat who works about Killed in Action: An Equalizer Novel for the US. Her boy, an American Captain in the US Army, is element of a contingent advising Syrian Rebel forces in their fight against the Jihadists. He continues to be reported KIA, but his body is not found. His mother asks McCall to learn if her son is definitely alive or dead. When McCall embarks on the suicidal rescue mission in Syria, he stumbles upon a terror plot aimed at the United States. The terrorists are being protected by mercenaries known as Momento Miro-Remember That You Must Die. McCall discovers the key to the terror attacks can be his one-time employer, Control, the head of a spy organization known as “The Company.” He is missing. His existence has been removed from all personal and intelligence records, as if he never been around. McCall must find his previous friend and stop these terror episodes from being carried out on American earth.

McCall also offers to deal with an “Equalizer” wannabe, a psychotic vigilante whose tries to be always a “hero” and rid the brand new York roads of violent crime are getting innocent people killed.
