Built by among Richmond’s wealthiest cigarette vendors, the Jefferson has stood for over a hundred years and offers catered to the popular, the infamous – and a few alligators!
Upon this tour we’re discussing the many architectural styles that you’ll find all around the town and we’ll discuss the people who lived here – the owners AND the servants.
We’ll end our tour on the Virginia State Capitol – the building created by Thomas Jefferson and the website that has observed so much history from the brand new Battle through the Civil Battle, towards the Civil Privileges movement, and on to the social movements of the twenty-first century.
