Two American originals, Tag Twain and the West, get together in this documentary from the author’s seven-year ‘pleasure trip’ towards the sterling silver mines of Nevada. Twain experienced originally planned the trip to be a three-month ‘holiday;’ not surprisingly for someone of Twain’s character, the trip lasted seven years. His trip, like his publication, has a method of taking ever-unexpected transforms.
