There is no getting from it. From whichever angle, Death is a horrible, inescapable business. But someone’s got to do it. So if Death decides to have a well-earned second to uncover the meaning of life and find out himself along the way, then there is going to be a void of particular dimensions that should be occupied, particularly so when there is certainly trouble making in Discworld.
