Among the last living Negro American Group players, Gilbert Black of the Indianapolis Clowns discusses growing up in NYC and sneaking in to the Polo Grounds to watch baseball games while a child. Black recalls the segregation and discrimination he and other black football players faced in the major leagues, including being made to sleep outside on a porch at teaching camp with the Atlanta Braves.
