Now the supernova’s residual effect-a storm of high-energy particles-is racing toward it, and a global effort has been launched out of the Sky Town space colony to save the planet. But the controversial plan to build a large protective shield is usually dropping dangerously behind timetable. Some unexplained murders provides disrupted the Sky City workforce, a lot so that an excellent but monstrous criminal has been enlisted to locate the Sky City killer.

Then more startling news arises. Proof indicates the fact that supernova was deliberately engineered which the lethal particle surprise will arrive sooner than anyone expected. But who-or what-tried to demolish the earth? And can the answer come in time to save lots of it from its final apocalypse?
