A widow at twenty-six, Primrose Bloom returns to idyllic Good Wish, Wisconsin, with her two rambunctious young males, seeking the beauty of the lakeside panorama as well as the convenience of home. Following the lack of her husband and her work, all she’s looking for is tranquility.

Prim is resolved never to time again until her males are in university, but her can starts crumbling whenever she’s around her former high school issue partner, Max Brody-who just happens to reside in the charming cottage next door.
