Madame Ranyevskaya and her little girl Anya have returned house from Paris to discover that their family property – which includes their beloved cherry orchard – has to be sold to cover the family’s obligations. They believe a miracle can save their orchard. But will their persistent pride and fond, child years memories be adequate?
