I want to tell you what perhaps the greatest Christian who ever lived (the Apostle Paul) thought of the cross of Christ. Believe me, the mix is of deepest importance. That is no mere query of controversy; this is not one of those points on which guys may agree to differ and feel that differences won’t shut them out of heaven. A man should be right on this subject matter, or he is lost permanently. Heaven or hell, joy or misery, life or loss of life, blessing or cursing within the last day – all hinges on the response to this issue: “What do you consider about the mix of Christ?”
