FBI Special Agent Drew Cady is reluctantly drawn into looking into the assassination of a sitting USA senator. Strangely, the senator’s loss of life is associated with a murdered Baltimore junkie with an identical MO-a one stab wound towards the center and a typed eulogy remaining at the picture.

As Agent Cady deals with a professional strike guy known only as the Canadian, and a discovery Alzheimer’s drug, a misanthropic hacker, and a Mexican drug cartel, he peels back the layers of deceit and comes to recognize that even the reddest of red herrings may bite.

And unfortunately for all involved, the killings have just begun.
