A woman called Maria Gomez is murdered in Miami, apparently by her husband-who’d been presumed dead, slain by a crime boss. FBI agent Brett Cody can’t believe it; deceased or alive, the person had enjoyed his wife. He also can’t help feeling guilty, since he was in charge of protecting Miguel and Maria Gomez.

A few miles aside, Lara Mayhew has simply begun working at a dolphin study facility. She loves her brand-new job-until a dolphin brings her something unforeseen from your deep. A human being hand. More areas of the body show up, so when Brett checks the situation, he discovers which the dismembered corpse is usually Miguel’s.

Soon, rumours of crazed zombies abound in the Miami mass media, as well as the Krewe of Hunters, at the very top FBI unit of paranormal investigators, is named in. Brett and Lara find themselves working with the Krewe-and working closely collectively. An elderly crime boss who’s shedding his memory appears to be key to resolving this case, but…there is no motive. Unless Brett and Lara can uncover one in the Miami underworld.
