Summary:
Danny North knew from early childhood that his family was different-and that he was different from them. While his cousins were learning how exactly to create things that commoners known as fairies, spirits, golems, trolls, werewolves, and additional such miracles which were the heritage of the North family members, Danny concerned that he’d never display a talent, never form an outself.
He grew up in the rambling aged house, filled up with dozens of cousins and aunts and uncles, all ruled by his father. Their home was about The Shed Gate isolated in the mountains of traditional western Virginia, far from town, far from schools, far from other people.
There are various secrets in the House, and several rules that Danny must follow. There is a magic formula library with only a few dozen books, and none of them in English-but Danny and his cousins are anticipated to be fluent in the vocabulary of the books. While Danny’s cousins are absolve to create magic whenever they like, they must never do it where outsiders might observe.
Unfortunately, there are a few secrets kept from Danny as well. And that will lead to catastrophe for the North family members.
