The city of Darien’s power is continuing to grow, but not with out a price. Triumph has attracted the gaze of the fierce enemy through the North.

The Féal Empire is determined to declare Darien’s magic and utilize it to take the throne. With nowhere else to turn, the twelve families enlist the help of the Sword Saint.

Together with five outcasts – a gambler, a hunter, a young thief, a sorceress and a battle-scarred warrior – the sword saint must travel in to the extremely heart of the invading army.

Darien was after the Empire of Salt’s greatest stronghold – right now it’ll be the final battleground. As well as the Sword Saint their last hope.
