The sources range between Dr. Sowell’s letters, books, newspapers columns, and articles in both scholarly journals and popular publications. The topics range from late-talking kids to tax cuts for the rich, baseball, race, war, the part of judges, health care, and the rhetoric of politicians. These topics are dealt with by drawing sometimes on history, occasionally on economics, and sometimes on a feeling of humor.
