THAT IS Your FBI, as the title suggests, was a crime drama that featured true cases through the FBI and was told from an agent’s viewpoint. The show’s manufacturer and director, Jerry Devine, acquired once worked for the FBI, therefore having him for the display would allow each story to be told in the simplest way possible. J. Edgar Hoover, who was simply the chief of the FBI at that time, offered it his endorsement, calling it “the finest dramatic program over the air,” and offered Devine usage of the FBI documents for the stories used about This Is certainly Your FBI, Vol. 1 in the present.

The show’s main character was Agent Jim Taylor, who handled crime cases on the West Coast. Each thirty-minute show allowed for the presentation from the criminal’s actions, followed up with Taylor’s investigation of the crime. This long-running series starred Frank Lovejoy (and later on Dean Carlton and William Woodson) as the narrator, Betty Light, and Stacy Harris.
