His clandestine investigation reopens previous wounds between Maine locals and rich summertime residents and places both his very own life which of the girl he loves in jeopardy. As he closes in on his quarry, he instantly discovers how dangerous his competitors are, and what lengths they will head to prevent him from getting a killer to justice.
