When the world shrunk as countries all over the world began communicating to one another and trading with each other, it became important to extend the policies and regulations of a country to be able to accommodate the relations set up with other countries. That is when international organizations begun to start to see the light of the day. Countries needed co-operation from each other to be able to live together in the world and share the resources obtainable.
United Nations System had not been the first on the subject of United Nations System organization to start to see the dependence on co-operation among countries. It started as early as 1865 when the International Telecommunication Union was founded. The business now exists as a part of the UN specific agencies. The Second World War resulted in the subsequent formation of the United Nations. But actually before it, existed the League of Nations which was founded during the First World Battle in 1919 beneath the Treaty of Versailles. It failed in its efforts when the Second World War began and therefore stopped its activities.
The United Nations picked up from where its predecessors had remaining and targeted at avoiding the events that had led to the Second Globe War. The efforts of the organization have been more successful than some of its forerunners and it has thus had the opportunity to become perhaps one of the most influential companies in the globe.
